During my recent stay at this unique hotel, I found it to be a blend of history and comfort, reminiscent of days gone by in Eastern Germany. While I was a bit taken aback when I discovered the restaurant was closed on Friday evening, I appreciated the nearby town's recommendation for local dining options. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with superb pillows that contributed to a comfortable night's sleep. The highlight for me was the expansive German breakfast, featuring a delightful range of items including fresh rolls and cheeses-perfect fuel for a day of exploring. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries, including arranging for my airport shuttle. Situated near several lakes and picturesque walking paths, I enjoyed afternoon strolls while soaking in the serene surroundings. For those adventuring through Germany, this hotel stands as a solid option. It comfortably caters to groups as well, making it ideal for events or gatherings. It served as a convenient and pleasant base for my journey.
